Tech for Learning

Thank you TECH FOR LEARNING for this innovative educator award!!!!
This was from last year, but I just found it on the web while doing a search.

December Tech4Learning Innovative Educators

"It is better to create than to be learned. Creating is the true essence of life."
~Barthold Georg Niebuhr

This is my favorite time of the month. I get to annouce the newest members of the Tech4Learning Innovative Educators. These are educators that have a passion for teaching and sharing, especially with our products. They show creativity and excellence in all that they do. That's one of the reasons I selected this month's quote to be "It is better to create than to be learned. Creating is the true essence of life." These educators know this and take it to heart. You'll see blog posts from them as they share what they are doing with their students, conference sessions, and samples that inspire possibilities in your own classroom. (Check out the Pixie Sample projects on Kellie's page!) They know that lecturing and worksheets are not the only way to teach a child, but letting them create and explore their own possibilities will help them grow in life.
So without further ado, I'd like to introduce December's TIE's:

Amy Benford, AS Woodward Memorial School, Southborough, MA
Cynthia Fordham, Ravenscroft School, Raleigh, NC
Jan Tell, Dodge Elementary, Grand Island, NE
Kathy R Williams, Fort Daniel Elementary School, Flowery Branch, GA
